I quit my job to build my own ideas. One of them runs at ElevenLabs.
That's the short version of why I work the way I do. Once you've designed, built, priced, marketed and supported your own product, a brief stops being a list of screens to make and becomes a set of decisions to get right.
I've been designing and doing UX research since 2021 and shipping my own products since 2022 — and I've had many failures, and successes like Flowdrive, file infrastructure now used by teams at ElevenLabs, Proton Mail, Chili Piper and Dagster, and Markdrop, a visual feedback tool for product teams. Both built solo, end to end.
Day to day I'm Founding Designer at open session, working with Karim Bouhdary, formerly Lead Experience Designer at Google. I also co-founded StudioDuo in 2023.
